PARK CITY, Utah — Big changes are coming to Outlets Park City this month. The beloved shopping destination is kicking off a major refresh that will transform it into Junction Commons Park City.
A fresh look
The first phase of the revamp focuses on giving the lower level a makeover. Expect a modern color palette, sleek new siding, and revamped signage throughout the center. Shoppers will also enjoy a new seating plaza at the main entrance for relaxing between shopping sprees. Sandy-based Elevation Construction, with a team of over 50 workers, is leading the project and aims to complete it by the end of the year.
Don’t worry about store closures—all stores will remain open during the renovation. While the exterior signage will temporarily come down, it won’t affect access to any retailers.
A new identity
Come later this year, Outlets Park City will be rebranded as Junction Commons Park City, reflecting its dynamic new retail mix. This rebranding supports the company’s commitment to offer a diverse range of stores, from popular outlet concepts to national retailers, local boutiques, restaurants, and service businesses.
The transformation began last fall with new additions like Buckle, Pro Image Sports, Chipotle Mexican Grill, and Jersey Mike’s Subs. The additions continued with Bullfrog Spas Factory Stores and Ulta Beauty, which are set to open later in the year. Local gems such as Beau Collective, Cecelia New York, and Blue Sky Nomads will be highlighted as part of the rebrand.
Tom Schneck, senior vice president of marketing, expressed, “The retail community is moving to a more hybrid format with many brands like Ulta Beauty leading the way. We see this new direction of luxury brands setting up shop alongside value-priced retailers to create great synergy for the community of Park City.”
