The Soldier Hollow Classic Sheepdog Championship & Festival, which is set for Memorial Day Weekend, May 22 to 25 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, will showcase competitive working dogs and owners over Memorial Day weekend.
Originally established in 2003, the Soldier Hollow Classic blends agricultural heritage with world-class sport in a setting shaped by the 2002 Winter Olympic Games — and future host site for the 2034 Winter Games.
“What makes this event exceptional is the setting and the level of competition,” said Dallin Koecher, executive director of Heber Valley Tourism, Chamber & Economic Development. “It gives visitors a rare opportunity to experience the heritage of the sport and caliber of a world-class competition in one place.”
